HD Composite offers various kinds of engineering services, such as design, engineering simulation of composites, 5-axis CNC milling (15,5m x 4,0m x 2,0m), 3D scanning, reverse engineering, prototyping etc. Our professional design engineers have a great deal of experience in design and development of special purpose machines, equipment, and unique machine parts. Our team has designed numerous tools and moulds especially for RTM technologies and developed automated manufacturing lines. With the contribution of our simulation team we have created many different structural composite parts.
Our skilled simulation engineers can carry out engineering calculations (e.g. flow, thermal and static calculations) and accomplish/perform finite element analysis for complex metal and composite parts as well as for bonded joints. Besides mechanical simulation they are able to design and optimize fiber-reinforced structures for the different industry sectors. Aside from computer-aided engineering works they specify and coordinate coupon- and structural tests of different composites and analyse the measurement data to validate the simulations. Beyond their industrial tasks they perform research and investigation on methods for finite element modelling with special regard to composites.
